Speaking of authors, I'm an author. And I've spent the morning editing two stories, "Pittailiniq" (Inuit angakkuq Vs zombies) and "The Romero Transference" (1950s Lovecraftian story involving secret experiments, the Pnakotic manuscripts, and atomic tests). Now that they've been safely submitted, I'm moving on to "The Babel Stone", which involves illicit artifact smuggling and language-eating eldritch entities. Which is as much fun writing as it sounds.
