48k is the goal for ToLN today. It's an easy goal, as I'm more than half-way there as I take a break to write this. Tomorrow I should reach the much-ballyhooed 50,000 word mark, which will be quite a relief. I've been at this almost four weeks now.
As a reward, I may take a bit of a break on Friday to work on other projects, most notably the next Nightmare Men essay, centred on Manly Wade Wellman's John Thunstone. I may also try and nudge the word count on "The Hunting of Philip Ackroyd" up a notch or two.
In other news, the release date for Knight of the Blazing Sun is fast approaching. Have you pre-ordered your copy yet? And if so, you'll recall that we have a contest going, so take a look at that.
And that's that for today, I think.
