Work on Project: Holden continues at an amiable speed. I've topped the 20,000 word mark, which is a bit of a relief. All the major players have been introduced and the story can now proceed to its inevitable, bloody conclusion. If you'd like a hint as to what it's about, I'll simply say that the title is now listed on the Warhammer novels wiki. Also apparently on this message board topic and on Amazon in what is perhaps the earliest ever-lovin' pre-order opportunity ever. So, if you feel like detectorin' as to the true-for-reals-title, rock on with your bad selves.
Other than Project: Holden, I've been noodling about with "Corpse-Light", trying to beat it into shape for when submissions open for IFP's Fungi anthology this weekend. A few more tweaks, perhaps on Saturday, and I think it'll be ready to take that long plunge into the slush pile.
