Tuesday Turnpike

Interesting take, regardless of whether you like his work or not. Also, his beard is not as impressive as I have been led to believe. Still, one cannot fault a man for not wanting a thicket on his chin. I guess. This time.

Today there was some tentative good news on a submission made at the tail-end of last year. Also, if you'd like to ask me questions, feel free to pop by The Black Library Bolthole where I've now got my own 'Ask the Authors' thread.

Speaking of self-promotion, my pal Percival Constantine has a new book out this month. You should go check that out and maybe treat yourself to a copy.

Regarding my own writing, I'm now roughly 18,000 words into Project: Holden, which is a satisfactory if not altogether excessive number of words. I'm aiming to bust the 30,000 mark by Sunday, but who can say what the future holds? [Editor's Note: Probably mutants. Hungry ones.] Oh, and if you were not aware, I'm running a contest! All you got to do to enter is to pre-order a copy of Knight of the Blazing Sun, and that nets you a shot at one of two awesome anthologies (winner's choice).

And speaking of pre-orders, according the BL site, it looks like there'll be a BL stand at the Warhammer 40k Throne of Skulls tournament on January 28th, where you can pick up an actual physical copy of Knight of the Blazing Sun a whole month and change early!

I think that's enough for Tuesday, don't you?
