Monday Agenda of the Speaking Goat

Several things to mention today, the first of which is-hey! interview. With me. Over at the Black Library Bolthole. You should go read that.

Next up, the tenth issue (and first issue of 2012) of the Lovecraft eZine is out, with it's usual sterling line-up of contributors. Also, me.  My story, "Eliza", is a post-apocalyptic, Logan's Run sort of thing, only with goat-girls, robot-spiders-with-sorcerer-brains and certain inhabitants of corkscrew towers, which you can read or listen to for free. Xan Nyfors did a lovely audio-version of the story, and Nick Gucker did some amazing artwork which you can see below:

Thirdly, pal Derrick Ferguson has decided to share some info on our collaborative pulp novel-in-progress, The Vril Agenda over at his (one of many) blog. And in the interest of setting the record straight, a week is plenty of time to write a 30k word novella.

As an aside for those interested in that sort of thing, I crossed well over the 40k mark on Project: Holden, AKA Time of Legends: Neferata this weekend. The halfway mark fast approaches and I am possessed of the inescapable conclusion that 100,000 words simply isn't enough to do all the cool stuff I want to do. So help me God, I will cram as many ninja-vampiric-mummy-dragon-fighting-devil-punching antics into this book as I am able. Because screw subtlety.

That's enough for today, I think. Out you go.
